Volunteering & Giving Back

Recently, the Democratic Women’s Club decided to revamp the former “Kindness Council” charged with coordinating the donation and volunteer efforts of the club and its members. There  is  a new “Giving Chair” who will coordinate a plan for giving back to community organizations using both DWC funds and donations provided by our generous members. Many of our members already volunteer regularly with various community groups, and DWC contributes monetarily to many groups throughout the year.  With the new approach, our goal is to maximize those volunteer opportunities for our members and the DWC at large, as we continue our regular monetary donations to local food banks and other community groups.
